In this article, I want to talk about two websites that just might open your eyes to the power of Internet marketing tools, those handy little services and applications that can turn a site from a non-performer into a top selling system.

The source of these cool marketing tools is none other than that famous blog at Jedi Wealth System – the Online Wealth Building blog.  I found this site last year, and it really propelled me into a professional marketer in no time. 

If you are new to online marketing, be sure to go over the basics – market research, keyword research, commerciality, needs assessment, content generation, publication, promotion, and optimization.  Now, some say you can market online without a website, but you and I know that is just dog food to get the complete newbies feeling comfortable about getting started.  Fact is, not just one website is needed – usually you’ll need a few.  One to sell something, and others to blog, or for forums, or for lead capture, or for back links…it could be for any number of purposes, actually.

So first off, the Internet Marketing tools post first brought these sites to my attention, and their walkthrough of how to use these tools gave me some new ideas for marketing that I hadn’t thought of before…like looking at a competitor website, and how to analyze their keywords, to see what they were doing to make money.  It’s a brilliant strategy, and I just didn’t know of a way to do that before…Fact is, after getting access to the Jedi system, I learned about the Google keyword tool, and how to do a similar thing with it.  Of course, spyfu, that paid service, is killer if you want to dig into the adwords world and see who is paying ads, and which keywords they are using.  If you are paying for pay per click ads, these tools will really open your eyes to what’s going on behind the scenes of some of the big search engines.

One of the sites I want to share with you today is webdatah.com – which lets you look up a site, and see all sorts of information about it – traffic volume, demographics, average income of its visitors, gender, age, all that stuff.  Bet you didn’t know you could find all this information for free online, did you?

The other site, keyrow.com, let’s you look up keywords.  Just pop in a domain, and get keywords for that site.  But don’t trust it completely, because these tools aren’t perfect, and even Google has been wrong about traffic for it’s keywords, and it runs the site almost everyone uses!

Give them a spin, and see if they provide you with new ideas on what to do to create more online income.
